USCIS, under the Obama Administration, filled a gap in our visa system by creating an entrepreneur parole option. See http://usaie.org/uscis- publishes-new-rule-parole-for- international-entrepreneurs/. The Trump Administration stopped the parole, which was supposed to begin in July, 2017.
The National Venture Capital Association and other nonprofits went to court to try to save the entrepreneur parole. USCIS is not yet taking applications, but it will have to put out a new rule ending the parole soon, or comply with the court order and begin taking applications.
