DHS announced a new family reunification parole process (FRP) for certain nationals of Ecuador whose family members are U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents and who have received approval to join their family in the United States. In response to the announcement, AILA President Farshad Owji stated, “The FRP process will allow qualified individuals residing in Ecuador to reunite with their U.S. citizen and legal resident family members more quickly.” The USCIS news release can be found here.
